2010 So Far.....

2010 has been a great year so far. I can't believe we have already been in NV for 11 months. Time has gone so fast.

Trent got a new job as a Project Manager and has been able to travel the country a little. In just 3 weeks, he got to visit Boston, MA, Nashville, TN & New Orleans, LA. (pics coming soon) Now we know of places we need to go on vacation.

I moved out of Apparel and into Health & Beauty & Small Appliances. I love the change and think apparel is definetly not for me.

Braelyn turned 3 in April and is growing like a weed. I can't believe how well she talks and how much of a "big girl" she really is. She loves playing with Trey Trey and can't wait to do anything and everything with him.

Treyton turned 6 in July and finished Kindergarten. He did great! We are so proud of him. He is having fun playing with his 8 yr. old twin friends Tommy & Kaden, who's birthday just happens to be the day after Treyton's. The kids love visiting the pool every chance they get and have now discovered water balloons.

We are still loving life in Vegas, it is hot hot hot, but I would rather endure the heat then deal with the cold winters. I will TRY to make more effort to update our blog more often, and post pics too. Hope you enjoyed our little update :)

We are so excited. Just got word today that Trent's transfer will be for Oct. 5 and we don't have to wait until Nov.3. Trent has been waiting and waiting for this.

He has been driving down to Vegas from Ogden on weekends to spend time with us. We are so excited for him to finally be able to live down here with us for good. I love you babe!! Thank you for all of the sacrifices you make for our family.

Welcome to our new home in Las Vegas, Nevada!!!

We have been in Las Vegas for about 12 days now and love it!! We miss not being around our friends and family in Utah and just want to say thanks to them for supporting us in our decision to move down here. We are looking forward to many visits.....

Treyton started Kindergarten and is enjoying being a "Big Kid" now. He and Braelyn are enjoying seeing Grandpa Bill on Wednesdays.

Today, I just got confirmation that I will be transfered to the Silverado Ranch Target at the South end of Las Vegas. Trent & I have been talking about moving for about a year now. I start my new position down there on Labor Day, Trent is still working with the Home Depot to get his transfer to go through sooner, if not he will be down there with me by November. We are looking to rent a home somewhere in the Henderson area. We couldn't be more excited, and will miss all of our great friends and family who have always been there for us. We are excited to be closer to my Dad, and hope when friends come to Vegas they look us up!!

Treyton turned 5! We had a Batman cake for him. He got to go shopping with some Bday money Oma & Opa and Grandpa Bill & Grandma Deb gave him. He picked out some really cool Batman toys. Mom & Dad got him his first bike, so now he gets to learn how to ride it this summer. It should be a lot of fun.

We went up to the cabin with Grandma Jackson and Grandpa Joe this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. Grandma & Grandpa Bruin were there along with Rich, Meri, Luke & Leah and Uncle Craig and Ryan. The kids had a lot of fun playing and finding caterpillars in the trees. They also made a dinosaur egg nest up on the hill. We all got to shoot guns, throw knives and go to the hot air balloon festival. It was a great weekend. Thanks Mom for inviting us.

For Mother's Day this year, Trent and the kids took me to IHOP for breakfast. The kids got some cute balloons in the shape of a giraffe and a monkey, which was fitting for the day. After breakfast we went to Hogle Zoo with Melanie and Jared. It was a lot of fun, I have a feeling we will be there quite often now since we decided to get an annual pass. The kids will love it. Thanks Trent and kids for giving me a great Mother's Day!!

We all had a good holiday this year. Just so glad all the craziness is over. The kids got some fun toys from all of their aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Thanks guys! Trent and I got some good gifts too. We had a lot of fun going on a shopping spree for clothes for Trent, I spent my money on buying a new Christmas tree! I can't wait to put it up next year! Gotta love the 50% sales after Christmas! It was good to spend time with the family, just wish we could do it a little more often. Love you guys!!
At the beginning of this year Treyton and Braelyn started going to their new babysitter Sheila's house. They love it. Treyton can't stop talking about his "best friend" Violet. They have all kinds of fun playing with Violet, Brian and Lily. It has been a great new thing for them.

This past weekend we drove down to grandpa Bill's house with Mel. It was really good to see Dad and Deb.

While we were down there, we got to visit Anaika and Rich, Meri, Luke & Leah. The kids had a lot of fun playing, and we had fun just relaxing and chatting with the family.

We drove up to Scenic Arizona to play the lottery!!

We got to have a night out without the kids!! We went to dinner at McGrath's Fish House and then to our friend Jessie's wedding. The kids got to spend some time with grandma Jackson!

We went to visit the Clark Planetarium with Grandma Jackson's family! It was our first time riding the FrontRunner train. The kids really enjoyed it. At the Clark Plantetarium we watched "Fly me to the moon" and ate lunch in the park.

We celebrated our 6th Anniversary today!! We took the kids to Aunt Mel & Uncle Jared's to stay overnight & stayed in Wendover. We ended up bringing back the money we took down! Yay!

We drove down to Mesquite to visit grandpa Bill & grandma Deb. We had a lot of fun. The kids got to spend the day with grandpa and grandma while we went to Vegas to find a tattoo shop so Krista could get her first tattoo. We had a lot of fun and ate lunch at Hooters since nobody at work believed us that there was Hooters Hotel.

So we decided to create a blog! Yeah, now we can add random pics & facts about our little family of 4. Treyton is 4 years old and Braelyn is just about 18 months old. They are both growing so fast. Trenton & Krista both work day jobs and do vinyl decals and more at night via. stickyxpressions.com. Treyton & Braelyn are having fun going to Oma & Opa's house everday while mommy & daddy are at work.
